To Know
We desire to "know" the living God intimately. Throughout the Bible we encounter the word "know" as a way to describe our relationship with God. It involves all of us - our heart, mind, soul, and strength. It is based in real life with a living God speaking and working with our authentic lives. So it is our desire to know God in an ever increasing way, so that we can experience His beauty, goodness, wisdom and fruitfulness in our lives.
To Grow
We desire to "grow" together in the transforming grace of Jesus Christ. We want to get past guilt and shame based living, to a place of health and victory. Growing means to be more Christ-like in the way we live and interact with one another. We celebrate the practical way that the grace of Jesus is continually transforming our lives as individuals and as a community of faith. People are finding joy and new discoveries as they walk with God through the Holy Spirit speaking to their spirits.
To Show
We desire to "show" God's love through the power of the Holy Spirit with our whole lives. The showing of God's love is an overflow from the love that we have received from God and extend to others. Like Jesus, this is done in both our deeds and our words. We know that it is God's life and power through the Holy Spirit that enables us to show this tangible and healing love. This love is extended to our circles of influence, our families, our neighbors, and our world.
